SteamBoat@Yuan Steamboat

This is how someone looks like when they are hungry!

They tend to look like zombie when they are not able to eat even though the food is directly in front of them. It is certainly a shock for a colleague of mine, Jason. Just look at his expressions…

He was totally in disbelieved with the zombie looks. But by acting quickly, Jason manages to save him from the zombie spell. How? You may ask. Give the zombie food ASAP…

Once he consumes those foods, he transformed to become a human…

By the way, this person is Eric. Of course everyone is happy that he has change back to his human form. Just look at how happy Jun is…

And of course Carmen, who look glad that she does not need to sit with zombies.

When you are able to save someone, surely both would become good friends. Just look how close they become…

Okay! Okay. I know, enough of those craps that I am writing here. Actually, yesterday night was the night that all of us agree to eat dinner together as part of out gathering. We went to Yuan Steamboat, in front of Sunway Pyramid as early as 6.00 pm and we ate until 8.30++…

We have a surprise (at least I have) when Felix brought his wife together. They look so nice together (Couple made in heaven).

Feeling blessed (just wed last year), Felix eat...

and eat…

and eat…

Jun keep a watchful eye on Felix throughout the night. Look at her…

And I am just kidding… really, I make up the story although the steamboat dinner are real.

Dear Felix’s wife, if you are reading this, please don’t get mad. Just want to make my little blog interesting. Somehow, I believe that Jun would kill me when she see me later.

Anyway…

After dinner, we went to a café nearby for more drinks and relax. The café is called Jordin Café (coincidently, Jordin Spark just won American Idol Session 6 earlier)…

We were playing cards while joking around and as usual, Jason has the most expressions…

Eric was cracking his head on what he wants to drink…

And here is everyone minus me…

Anyway, reach home kind of late, which I don’t mind, and after a quick shower, I start photoshopping the pictures and write this entry. Hope you like what I write here. Any comment, please let me know. And if you want any other pictures taken using my camera, please let me know…

Weddings

Just in case that you don't know, Keang Yang is getting married with his long time sweetheart.

Congratulation, man!

He is getting married this coming Sunday and many of the old friends would be gather together to be his "Heng Tai" or bridegroom's brothers. If according to the new tradition, the "Chee Mui" or sisters of the bride would set-up some task that Keang Yang or his brothers need to complete before he can reach to his bride. I would be one of the brothers as well.

Also, I would be bringing my camera to capture the special event as a mean of practice.

Also, there are many other weddings coming up. Lay Yong is getting married in Jun, Siau Fong at the end of the year and Michelle Sebastian, my manager is getting married too.

Will upload some of the pictures that I am taking during these wedding into this blog. Stay tuned.

Idiotic Colleague

I am not sure whether this is an isolated case or not but if you have similar experience, do share it here.

I have a colleague that graduate from UiTM and believe me when I say this, he is an idiot.

Why do it say this? The idiot just don't want to use his common senses or should I say don't know how to use his common senses. He was having problem with his e-mail account and as one of the unofficial IT Support Team member, I fix the problem and explain to him afterward.

He was so happy then and went to use his e-mail directly. In less than 5 minutes, he call for my help. When I went over to see what is the problem, there was a pop-up asking for password for another user. The computer is actually a shared computer and the e-mail account that is having problem belong to another person. Still he keep on asking idiotic question like why is it like this even after I explain it to him since a few months ago. If he just open his eye and look into the pop-up, he would realize that it got nothing to do with him and all he need to do it to click on the cancel button (which I have told him a lot of time since a long time ago) but he never listen.

I had an outburst then and he just sit there. I believe that he still don't understand what I was trying to tell him. So, do you believe that this idiot is an idiot.

If this is not an isolated case, I can tell you for sure that these people are community's trash 100%

Spiderman 3

Last Saturday, Catriona and me went to GSC, The Summit, to watch Spiderman 3. Yeah, I know that it has been a while since the movie open in the cinema but I just don't want to fight for the ticket with the rest of the world.

So, I waited for 3 weeks before watching it. Everything went fine and I was immersed into the movie for about 1 hour before, out of sudden, BLACKOUT!!! After a while of waiting, GSC's employee came and announce that the whole building is experiencing blackout. This is a shock to many but I had experience it once in Kuching. The fella also announce that we can get our refund from the counter or come back within two weeks time to watch the movie again or other movie.

Not wanting to have a "Hanging" feeling, Catriona and me decided to get our refund and went to Sunway Pyramid to finish off the movie. Once we arrived at Sunway, we went to TGV straight and buy the ticket for the next available Spiderman movie. We reach there at about 4.50 pm and we went into the 5.00 pm movie.

I slept for the first hour of the show (since I already seen it earlier) before waking up to finish off the whole movie. All together, I took about 5 hours to finish a 2 hours and 15 minutes of a movie.

That is really crazy of me...

Wesak Buddhist

As someone who consider himself as a Buddhist, it has always been amuse by people who proclaim themselves as Buddhist but never step into a Buddhist Temple. Yet, for those who does go to a Buddhist temple, how many actually really learn the Path of Dhamma?

What I want to point out here is actually the so-called Buddhist that only comes to the temple once a year during Wesak to pray for prosperity, health and happiness. These are the people that me and many others call Wesak Buddhist because that is when they consider themselves to be Buddhist by going to the temple.

These certainly shows that many people actually don't understand what is Buddhism. We, as a Buddhist, don't do to temple to pray for prosperity, health and happiness once a year. I am not criticizing those who only go to the temple once a year (in fact, the frequency of me going to a temple also drop a lot this year). What I want to tell here is that we, as Buddhist, don't really pray for anything and going to the temple very often does not say anything as well if you, yourself don't take the initiative to learn Dhamma and to practice it. By cultivating the good seeds of learning and practicing the Teaching of the Buddha, then and only then would we be able to reap the fruit of those good seeds that we have planted.
