Funny Way to Answer a Call

Whispers: the blogger's blog is still around... but I hope I can get over it soon...

.........................................

Heard this from a colleague:

When someone call you, instead of greeting him using "Hello" like usual, answer with the following:

"Nice Feeling Chicken Shop, We serve only the best feeling chicken just for you. How may I help you?"

Surely you would be getting a silence response from the other side... but I guess it would be kinda fun... :P

Never try it though...

Mamak's Stall - Daylight Robbery

Whispers: For those who have been waiting for my Paris photographs, I think you would still need to wait as I am experiencing technical glitches every time I upload it... not sure why but will try to get it up soon...

............................

Mamak's stall, which used to be a very great place for gathering or supper, mainly because of the cheap but really good food, are no longer that "heaven" nowadays... at least at the one that I went to yesterday...

Shanmuga Restoran, the one near Berkeley round-a-bout, is currently on my banned-list just because of yesterday...
I would understand if the price for food at these mamak's stall went up abit nowadays but it is really ridiculous to charge people twice the money people are paying for the same food at other places...

Yesterday, I ordered a cup of Milo Ice and I piece of Tandoori Chicken. The Milo ice is really full of ice and the chicken taste okay but I was really surprise when the bill comes in... I was charged a whopping RM8 for the Milo Ice and Tandoori chicken... When I enquire the fella, he told me that the tandoori cost RM6.40...

RM6.40
for a piece of Tandoori chicken
(the normal price I paid for better taste tandoori chicken is about RM3.50 only)

That is way too much to charge a Tandoori Chicken and I told that fella straight in the face that it is too expensive and I would never come back to eat there again... He just give me a blank face...

Another friend was ripped off as well: 1 Milo Ice kosong and 1 Pasembar plus 1 pack of nasi lemak biasa = RM5 something... my instinct is telling me that the nasi lemak biasa cost him about RM2.50 (other place sell at max: RM2 for the same thing...)

So, now... I am asking you all to spread the news that that mamak's stall is conducting daylight robbery and hope that everyone would just boycott that place...
