Say what you like but I do admit that this is my first time going oversea, apart from South China Sea that I cross to go to KK for study...

Yes, I am a "katak di bawah tempurung" but it is never too late to learn...

So, this is what I learnt today... I can blog at KLIA... hahaha...

Whispers: Had a long meeting with the Youth Camp committee members... Was informed that we already received 12 confirmed participants... better than I expected... GAMBATTE!!!

It was a joyious day last saturday... My godsister, San San, got married with her long-time sweetheart, Jason.

I, as one of the godbrother (the other would be Weoi Li), went over early in the morning to help out... As the "sisters" were low in number, Weoi Li and I was being recruited to join into the "sisterhood"... The funniest thing is that I was such an effective "sister" that the "brothers" were furious of me for making their "jobs" so hard...

The rest of the time, I function as photographer for the wedding. But then again, I feel so inferior among the two Nikon dSLR... I have made up my mind that I am going to get my very own dSLR in November...

In the evening, I am still one of the photographer for the wedding dinner... Being of of the invitee to the dinner, I was being sit with the rest of my gang... Weoi Li, Li Jin, Fook Ming, Ji Long, Ling Sze, Gee Way, Fay Chin, Hanxue and Mee Leng... By the end of the dinner, the couple went around the restaurant "cheering" every table. My table was one of the first few and the brother that I "kena" earlier of the day actually take their revenge on me by making me drink one cup of red wine at one go... It was okay initially, until the alcohol start kicking in...

Most of my gang went back early and I was one of the last one to leave the restaurant. Knowing that I am a little drunk, I drove slowly. Knowing how many of my kalyana mitras would be worried about me, I sent a message to each of them. Here is the message I wrote yesterday...

In case you are concern about me, rest in peace. I hav finally reach home in one piece. Throu

ghout the journey, I drove 180km/h only (oops, please take away the 1). Yeah, I know... I am so bad. Good nite.

Well, guys... That is one of the few occassions that I take in so much at one go... normally, I wont do it... I prefer to enjoy it slowly...

Anyway, thanks for your concern... I will take care of myself :) maybe we can come out and drink again someday... :P

Something that I saw triggered me to write this post...

As like any other Sunday for the past few weeks, I went to work as a part-time instructor yesterday at Skytrex. What caught my attention the most yesterday is the second last group that came in. It was not the leader's bad attitude but rather the group of people that he bought in.

The whole group consisted of 45 person (more or less, as I didnt have the privilage to count) with some as young as 6 years old to someone who is as old as 40-something... From what I can see, the older-generation people are good friends from those-were-the-days and it is already remarkable to see friendship that last so long...

But what is even more remarkable about this group is the younger-generation... Clearly, their age ranged from 6 to 16 or 17 years old but somehow, their relationship with each other are actually very good. I could see that they are actually very closely bonded together. Even though the boys are more wild (as expected) and the girls are more shy (more of the expected), they encourage each other (at the same time, tease one another as well).

It was really a very heart-warming time seeing how these families get together to do something (I am sure skytrex is just one of the many activities that they do together) and many, if not all, of their children joined in to have fun, great and value time together...

And it actually makes me wonder if my friends and I would move towards this direction in the future... I sure hope so as I dont really have this type of experience when I was young (yes, I am jealous... so what) but I do hope that my children wont go through the same thing as I am...

Disclaimer: I am not blaming my parent or anything because I am grateful that they have given me a very good childhood and I want to give my children the same plus something extra... :)
