Something I found just now

Here are two pictures that I found just now while going through a cd - Youth Camp 10's cd to be exact. Did not even know that both pictures exist but I kinda like it, though. So, here it is:

It was great, WaterWar

"It is not me. I am not the killer!!"
Me acting for Sherlock Holmes, a detective game that the participants need to interrogate suspect to see who is the real murderer. I think this is how I looked when I saw the ghost of the victim.

Sarawak in an Instance

It has been a while since I came back from Kuching, Sarawak and for those who have been eager to see those photo that I have taken, please be patient, I am in the mist of processing it and would upload it once it is ready.

So, while waiting for those pictures... let me tell you abit more about the trip.

The trip was actually "unplanned" about 3 months ago when, due to the insistant of Freddy Koh (Cat and my junior back in UMS), we decided to purchase the AirAsia ticket online.

And that was all the pre-journey work that we need to do, apart from packing our clothing at last minutes...

The flight was late in the morning on 7 October 2006. The flight went well and we reached Kuching in the afternoon.

One of the first thing that we look for is food. We were so starving at that time that we finished 3 bows of different type of mee.

Next we went to check-in to our room at ChongLin Plaza. At RM75, it is a small air-con room with an attached-bathroom plus a TV set to keep us company.

Next up, we went for a city tour. Believe it or not, most of the buildings here are shoplots and residential house with very few big buildling.

Those local businessman/constructor are so darn rich that they can build afew commercial park and name it using their own name. The owner of the hotel that we live in, actually have 3 commercial parks to his name. And did I mentioned that the building that I stayed is actually a 20 storeys tall building?

We also noticed that Astro is almost non-existance here in Kuching. Why? Because everyone is using more powerful satellite dish which can received signal from around the world (the smallest satellite dish manage to received tv signal from Taiwan and China only. Yet it is still better than Astro... Why? You may ask again.

Reason is, to install Astro, it would cost RM 200 for installation and another RM100 per month for subscription while at the same time, to install the biggest satellite, it would cost the owner less than RM2500.

Furthermore, Astro only have limited channel while the satellite dish can deliver almost all the channels in the world. No wonder no one in Kuching is going for their own satellite dish.

During our 5 days 4 nights stay in Kuching, we went to numerous places. Kuching is a very interesting place because, everywhere you go, there would be cats' statue there.

Place of interests are (in random order):
Fairy Cave
Windy Cave
Waterfront
Santubong Hill (didn't went up)
Crocodile Farm
Holiday Inn Lagoon
Holiday Inn Resort
Friendship Park
Chinatown
Cat Museum
UNIMAS
Souvenir Road
Sarawak Museum
"Bla Bla Bla Restaurant"
CoffeeMaster
